Lulu
Lulu is a darling little 6 year old Terrier/Schnauzer mix, we think. She may have some Poodle in her, as well. Whatever her breed may be, Lulu is the sweetest little dog on the planet. Her owner tearfully surrendered her due to a move. Lulu is a bit unsure of herself right now—just wondering what happened to her mom. She loves to be held and cuddled and relaxes into your arms in moments. Lulu gets along with all animals, as far as we can tell, and is happy to be with every human she has met. Lulu has been spayed and is current on all her shots. The only thing she is missing is a new forever home with someone to adore her. She is incredibly lovable and will make someone an amazingly dedicated companion. Could that special person be you?
Chico
No pup’s cuter, more affectionate or sweeter than Chico. He was found roaming around South Central Los Angeles all by himself. He was thin and hungry and really thirsty. Chico is just a bit over one year old so he could definitelly use some work on his puppy manners. He is loyal and true blue and is so hoping to find his forever home soon. Chico has been adopted into two loving homes and, unfortunately, returned through NO fault of his. Both owners tearfully returned him with broken hearts and a sincere plea to “Please find Chico a person who loves him as much as I do.” Despite all his changes, Chico remains happy as a clam, friendly as can be and just sure his special someone is going to come to adopt him. If you are interested in adopting or even fostering this amazing boy, please call Angel at 310-415-5360. Chico’s waiting by the phone. Please don’t disappoint him. A million thanks.
Joey
Joey is a wonderful, sweet, affectionate, adorable pup who is between 6 and 9 months old. He was found just terrified, running down the middle of a busy 4-lane street in South Central Los Angeles. Fortunately, the custodian at a nearby elementary school was able to coax him into a leash and turned him over to Rescued Angels. He definitely is one of the angels, too. Joey loves to socialize at his kennel with the other dogs. Not sure, as yet, how he feels about cats. He has some big paws, but can’t be sure if he’ll grow into a medium or small young man. Because he’s lived his life on the street, he will need some housetraining. He’s really smart, so he should catch on quickly:) Joey’s really happy to be safe and sound, but longs for a home of his own. If you would like to meet Joey, please call 310-415-5360. He’ll be waiting by the phone.:)Joey says he would be grateful for a foster home, too.
Cooky
Poor, poor, little Cooky. His family moved and left him behind in his yard to fend for himself. If that wasn’t bad enough for this sweet boy, a dog who was trained to fight came into that yard and attacked poor Cooky. He spent a week in the shelter. Even the people there saw what a wonderful boy he is and did NOT euthanize him, even though his injuries were severe. A very kind woman pulled him from the shelter yesterday and brought him to us. He had surgery this morning, Jan. 17th, and is doing beautifully. His wounds will all heal. What a miracle!!! Cooky will be under doctor’s care for some days now, but soon will be ready to go to his new forever home…a place where he will be loved and adored for the affectionate and happy boy he truly is. He was even wagging his tail and smiling just before surgery today. Cooky was neutered during his surgery and will have all his shots, a neurological exam and a clean bill of health before he is ready to go home. Cooky is a very special boy who needs to be with people who appreciate the pain and sadness his life has recently been and are willing to help him forget all about it. If you would like more info about Cooky, please call me, Angel, at 310-415-5360. Cooky’s waiting by his cell phone:) Thank you for thinking of him.
George
Boy, is George a great little dog!!! He is an amazingly handsome Manchester Terrier with a sweet, loving and affectionate personality. He absolutely loves his exercise and would make a fabulous jogging buddy, as well as being just thrilled with a few walks a day. George is seven years old, but please don’t tell HIM that, as he’s quite sure he’s just an adolescent:). Like most adolescents, he does need some training and that comes with his adoption thanks to a wonderful lady who loves him. His family had to leave their home and move to a place where George would not be happy, thus he needs a new home. He gets along with other dogs, but is a bit too interested in cats and so he shouldn’t be placed in a home that has them. Because he is full of happiness, energy and enthusiasm, he should get along very well with children over 10. George loves his people and will become completely devoted to his new person/family. That’s just how he is. George is ALWAYS thrilled to see you and let’s you know it. You’ll never be lonely with Georgie around:) He loves to cuddle, as you can see from his photo. Simply said, George is a fantastic companion and will always bring a smile to your face. If you would like to meet George, please call Angel at 310-415-5360. George has his cell turned on and he is waiting patiently for his forever person to call. Thanks for taking time to read about George and he wishes you a very Happy New Year.
Jingles
Poor little one-year old Jingles!!! It sure didn’t look like it was going to be a very Merry Christmas for him. But one of our amazing volunteers changed all that. Jingles wandered onto an elementary school in South Los Angeles, starving, dehydrated, terrified and thinner(only 5 pounds) than any dog we’ve ever seen. This pathetic little boy was also holding up his back leg. Our volunteer immediately recognized that Jingles had a broken leg and because of her kind, calm, caring manner was able to rescue him. After a complete exam by our vet, it was determined that Jingles did, indeed, have a leg that was broken weeks ago. He will undergo orthopedic surgery on Dec. 14 to repair his injury. Otherwise, Jingles is in excellent health with an adorable personality. He is friendly, loving, gives sweet kisses and would love to curl up in your lap.
Jingles is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
Nina

I am a spayed female about 2 years old, Cattle Dog Mix. I was found in the city of Compton roaming the streets. I am shy at first, but once I get to know you I am VERY loving and playful. I have fun playing with other dogs, but not so much with cats. I need a warm loving home. If you’re interested in meeting me please call or e-mail us!
Willy

Willy was found by one of our volunteers, walking with a homeless man. The man relinquished Willy saying , ”Find him a good home—not in the street.” Willy is a sweet, small (only 44 pounds), loveable Amstaff -mix boy with a wonderful personality. He is 2 years old,in excellent health, current on his vaccinations and has been neutered.
Willy LOVES to run, has lots of energy and would make an amazing jogging buddy. Because he made his home on the streets, he DOES need some training and, if you adopt or foster Willy, Rescued Angels will pay for training with Brian Agnew of The Balanced Dog in Hermosa Beach.
Brian has already worked some with Willy and feels he is very trainable. It was truly amazing to see Willy’s response to guidance, direction and affection while working with Brian. Willy likes all dogs he has encountered, while with Rescued Angels. He’s getting pretty bored in his cage where he is being housed and longs for someone to train him, exercise him, love him and be his best friend forever. Could that special person be YOU?
